Job summary

Cotswold Outdoor Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead one of our busy stores in Wales. In this role you’ll support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations, coach your team to deliver expert service and ensure customers have a great experience.

The role is 40 hours per week with a starting salary of £28,000-£30,000 plus a yearly bonus of up to £2,000. You’ll enjoy staff discounts, generous holiday and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Store Manager and ability to get the best from a team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and help people find the right products.
• Understand stock and safety to visual standards and general store operations.

Responsibilities

• Coach your team through daily operations including stock management, cash handling and store safety.
• Lead by example, motivating your team to deliver expert service and hit performance targets.
• Create an inclusive, welcoming environment where every customer feels valued.
• Step up to lead the team in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Maintain a high standard of presentation, keeping the store organised, inviting, and easy to shop in.
