Job summary

British Heart Foundation in Fakenham is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our fashion store team on a 3 Month Fixed Term Contract. You’ll support the Store Manager, lead staff and volunteers, and drive customer excellence in a fast-paced environment that trades 7 days a week.

You’ll be responsible for everyday store operations, merchandising, and helping to meet sales targets while maintaining our service standards and values. Weekend and bank holiday work on a rota basis is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day store operations and take full responsibility in their absence.
• Support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey reflecting BHF values.
• Ensure highest standard of customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain visual merchandising and maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
• Assist with recruitment and development of volunteers and participate in campaign activities.
• Work with the manager to generate stock.
