Olympus Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a busy Edinburgh store. The role supports the Store Manager, leads the team, develops staff, and drives sales while maintaining high standards of operation.

Competitive package includes a £29,000 salary plus a store bonus and a 40-hour week. Ideal candidates will have supervisory or management experience in retail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service, with strong commercial decision-making and people development

Edinburgh | £29,000 + Store Bonus | 40 Hours per Week

Are you an experienced retail leader looking for your next challenge? Would you love the opportunity to move into fashion retail with a well-established and growing retailer?

We're recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager to join a busy Edinburgh store. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supervisory or management experience from any retail environment who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, developing people and driving commercial results.

Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high operational standards and creating an exceptional shopping experience. You'll take ownership of the store in the Store Manager's absence, support the development of your team and help drive sales and performance through strong commercial decision-making.

Assistant Store Manager - What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of a busy retail store.
• Leading, motivating and coaching the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Driving sales performance and achieving store KPIs.
• Analysing commercial reports and making decisions to improve performance.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and team development.
• Ensuring excellent standards of stock control, merchandising and store presentation.
• Managing store opening and closing procedures, including security and daily briefings.
• Maintaining compliance with health & safety and operational procedures.
