Job summary

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for a fashion retailer at Edinburgh Airport. This full-time role (£29,000–£30,000) includes a bonus opportunity, pension, staff discount and 25 days holiday.

You will support the Store Manager, lead a small team and drive sales and KPI performance while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Full flexibility across 4:00am–11:00pm shifts is essential.

Are you an experienced Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Retail Leader looking for your next opportunity in fashion retail?

We're recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join a successful and growing fashion retailer based at Edinburgh Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Store Manager, lead a passionate team and help deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Please note: This is a full‑time, 40‑hour position based at Edinburgh Airport. The store trades between 4:00am and 11:00pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Full flexibility across these trading hours is essential.

The Assistant Manager Role

Supporting the Store Manager, you’ll help drive the commercial performance of the store while leading from the front to deliver exceptional customer service.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Coaching, developing and motivating the team

• Supporting recruitment, training and colleague developmentManaging stock, compliance and day‑to‑day store operations

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced retail leader who enjoys developing people and delivering results.

You’ll ideally have experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Department Manager, Deputy Manager or Store Manager within fashion retail, lifestyle retail, premium retail or a similar customer‑focused environment.

You’ll also bring:

• Experience driving sales and KPI performance
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• A hands‑on approach with excellent organisational skills
