Job description

This role involves supporting the management of a multi-million-pound store, with responsibilities including motivating and developing a diverse, talented team.

Day-to-day tasks may include assisting the Store Manager with managing deliveries, placing orders, or handling customer queries. You might also focus on people management, performance, or organising holiday rotas. Additionally, you'll work towards overarching goals such as maximising sales, ensuring excellent customer service, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency. You should be prepared to step into the Store Manager's role when necessary.

You’ll need to be:

• An experienced people manager
• Experienced in leading teams in fast-paced, stakeholder/customer-driven environments
• Skilled in time management and operational efficiency
• Motivated to achieve targets consistently

Please note, the salary displayed is based on a 45-hour per week contract. Aldi also offers 32, 36, and 40-hour contracts, with salaries pro-rated accordingly.
