Northern Ireland Housing Executive is seeking an Assistant Solicitor (Housing Management & Litigation) to join the Legal Services team in Belfast with travel throughout NI. The role offers a structured development programme with a pathway to Band 7 on successful completion.

You will provide professional legal advice, work independently under supervision, and contribute to high-quality services across housing management and litigation matters.

Qualifications

• Degree or Level 6* qualification (or equivalent).
• Solicitor of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland.
• At least 2 years' experience in providing legal advice and civil litigation.
• Post-qualification experience in title issues including conveyancing.
• Full driving licence or access to transport.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional legal advice across Housing Executive functions.
• Work independently under supervision of Senior Solicitors.
• Engage in a two–three year Personal Development Programme with rotation.
• Progress to Band 7 Solicitor on successful completion of the Programme.
