Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a new build housing development in Preston. The role supports the Site Manager to keep works safe, on programme and to quality standards on a large 300-plot project.

This contract runs for 2 months from October, with rate dependent on experience. Candidates should have timber frame experience, valid SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid, plus strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate the wider site team.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager in new build housing.
• Strong timber frame experience essential.
• Valid SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid required.
• Good knowledge of health & safety, quality and programme management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are required.
• Experience on large-scale residential developments is preferred.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a leading new build housing development of a 300-plot residential development in Preston.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager with a strong background in new build housing, specifically timber frame to secure a 2-month contract with an established housebuilder.

The Role

As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development, helping to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build housing
• Strong timber frame experience is essential
• Experience working on large-scale residential developments
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS
• Valid CSCS
• Valid First Aid
• Good knowledge of health & safety, quality and programme management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively alongside the Site Manager and wider site teamIt is crucial that you have prior experience working on large scale new build housing developments in the past.
