Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager on a 150-unit traditional build residential development in Altrincham. This is a 3-month contract on a new build housing project.

You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, uphold health and safety standards, and ensure works stay on programme and to required quality. Essential: SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/SSSTS qualification held is essential.
• CSCS card is required.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality and programme management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to support the Site Manager and wider site team effectively.
• Experience in new build housing and traditional build construction.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in day-to-day running of the development.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet programme and quality targets.
• Monitor progress and maintain health & safety standards on site.
• Assist with quality control and reporting to the Site Manager.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager to join a 150-unit traditional housebuilder in Altrincham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager with a strong background in new build housing specifically traditional build to join an established developer on a 3-month contract.

The Role

As Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to support the day-to-day running of the development, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will be involved in coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, maintaining health & safety standards and helping to ensure the development remains on programme.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build housing
• Traditional build experience is essential
• Experience working on residential developments
• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
• Valid CSCS
• Valid First Aid
• Good knowledge of health & safety, quality and programme management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to effectively support the Site Manager and wider site team
• Candidates must have previous new build housing experience and a strong understanding of traditional build construction
