Job summary

Caval Limited in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a cladding and fire remediation project on a residential development. This 6-month fixed-term contract involves assisting the Site Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality external wall remediation works.

You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, maintain site records, and liaise with residents and stakeholders to uphold project standards and programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction, ideally involving cladding, façade, or fire remediation projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management practices.
• Certifications: CSCS Card, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are on programme, safe, and to quality standards.
• Monitor health and safety compliance and company procedures.
