Job summary

Persimmon Homes is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to help lead construction on a live development. You’ll work with the Site Manager to meet budgets, timelines and quality standards while ensuring safety and compliance.

You’ll collaborate with subcontractors, utility providers and authorities, maintain site records, call off materials timely and supervise the workforce to deliver on time and to spec. Driving licence and NVQ level 4 are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team coordination experience on construction sites.
• Strong communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of a construction site to meet budgets, timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure quality and safety inspections are in line with group guidelines.
• Coordinate with external parties such as warranty providers, local authorities and utilities.
• Maintain records for inductions, HSE, timesheets and incident reports.
• Ensure materials are called off timely and stored per guidelines.
• Supervise workforce and subcontractors to deliver on time and to budget.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Care to resolve issues and provide plot progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment Policy on site.
