Job summary

Berkeley Group in Bath is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to lead and coordinate internal works from second fix through to handover on One Waterside. You will ensure quality finishes and align with Berkeley standards, working with the Senior Site Team, consultants and subcontractors to keep programmes on track.

The role requires hands-on site management, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to deliver high customer satisfaction and safe, compliant build practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction or property development.
• Ability to manage packages/phases/blocks on fast-paced developments.
• Hands-on oversight of internal works from second fix through to handover.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for site teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver internal works from second fix to handover, ensuring efficient sequencing of trades.
• Collaborate with Senior Site Team, consultants and subcontractors to maintain programme.
• Monitor progress of second fix activities and escalate risks to avoid delays.
• Maintain clear communication with the Senior Site Team and provide regular progress updates.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders for a productive site environment.
• Promote Berkeley Group values and a positive on-site culture.
• Drive Health & Safety compliance and adherence to policies.
