Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting an Assistant Site Manager to join a major £32m industrial unit project in Wakefield. You’ll support the Site Manager with day-to-day running, site inductions, documentation, and compliance, while ensuring safety and programme adherence.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage RAMS, monitor subcontractors, and coordinate meetings. Procore experience is highly desirable for efficient project administration.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certified and CSCS card holder.
• First Aid trained and on-site safety aware.
• Experience as Assistant Site Manager or similar role.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable on site and with project documentation.
• Procore experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day project delivery.
• Lead site inductions and onboarding of contractors.
• Maintain site paperwork and documentation.
• Assist with RAMS, risk assessments and compliance.
• Monitor works and subcontractors on site.
• Help coordinate site meetings with subcontractors.
• Utilise Procore and other digital site management systems.
• Help ensure works are delivered safely and in line with programme.

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a major £32m industrial unit project in Wakefield

Reporting directly to the Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the site, combining site-based responsibilities with the associated paperwork and project administration.

The Role

• Supporting the Site Manager and Senior Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project


• Assisting with site inductions and onboarding of contractors


• Managing and maintaining site paperwork and documentation


• Assisting with RAMS, risk assessments and compliance


• Monitoring works and subcontractors out on site


• Supporting site meetings and coordination with subcontractors


• Using digital site management systems, ideally Procore


• Helping ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role


• Strong organisational and communication skills


• Comfortable working both on site and with project documentation


• Tech savvy with good IT skills


• Procore experience would be highly desirable
