Job summary

MWH Treatment Limited is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to strengthen the Construction team at sites across the Anglian Region. The role provides day-to-day leadership to site teams and subcontractors, coordinating multiple work activities while developing skills to progress into a Site Manager position.

You will deputise for the Site Manager when required, driving performance, continuous improvement and effective stakeholder management on medium-sized construction projects.

Qualifications

• SMSTS training and CSCS card are required
• Health & Safety or First Aid at Work courses required
• Programme and resource management experience essential
• Excellent organisational and communication skills required
• A valid UK driving licence is desirable

You will deputise for the Site Manager when required, and play a key role in driving performance, continuous improvement, and effective stakeholder management.

• Assist in the planning and delivery of construction activities.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery.
• Assist in the management and coordination of site resources.
• Promote a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture.

• Build positive relationships with project teams, promoting an inclusive and respectful working environment by encouraging collaboration and diverse perspectives.

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent, on medium-sized construction projects
• Relevant SMSTS training, CSCS card and Health & Safety or First Aid at Work courses
• Programme and resource management experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A valid UK driving licence.
