Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a NHBC award-winning residential developer on a 114-unit traditional-build project in St Albans. You will support the on-site delivery within a structured production team and take ownership of build stages.

You will drive quality, safety, and progress, reporting to the site team and assisting in cost control. A solid residential background and CSCS/First Aid are required, with potential bonus opportunities and allowances.

Qualifications

• Extensive traditional build knowledge.
• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager in a production team.
• NHBC/LABC award winning background is advantageous.
• Experience working as part of a full production team.
• CSCS, First Aid and Scaffold awareness are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale traditional build scheme.
• Manage external or internal packages depending on experience.
• Provide clear direction to the on-site team on responsibilities and targets.
• Ensure the development aligns with specification and build programme.
• Deliver regular progress reports and dates.

My client, a NHBC award-winningnational residential developer is looking to appoint anAssistant Site Managerto join the team on a new114-unit traditional-build development in St Albans

The scheme will deliver a mix ofprivate sale and affordable housing, and you'll be working as part of an experienced, fully structured production team.

This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager with a solid residential background who is looking to develop their career, take ownership of key build stages and progress within a supportive housebuilding environment.

Duties,

• As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support in the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale traditional build scheme.
• Depending on experience will be looking after external or internal packages
• Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
• Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
• Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
• Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
• Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
• Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
• Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
• Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
• NHBC stage inspections
• Customer Care/Handovers/CMLS

Qualifications,

• Extensive traditional build knowledge
• Worked as an Assistant Site Manager working as part of a full production team
• Experience of being part of a NHBC/LABC Award winning team would be an advantage
• Working as part of a full production team
• CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold awareness
