An established industry player is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team in Bedford. This role involves assisting the Site Manager in delivering high-quality residential projects from groundworks to completion. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in site management, with at least three years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for managing sub-contractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and overseeing material management. My client who have an enviable reputation for creating quality new build homes in the Northern Home Counties has a requirement for an Assistant Site Manager to be based on site in Bedford.
As Assistant Site Manager your primary responsibilities will be to assist the Site Manager with safely delivering the project on time and to specification. You will play an integral part of taking the project from groundworks through to completion.

Required Skills and experience:
To be considered you must have at least 3 years previous site experience in a number two role on either a high value residential developments or volume house builder. My client is only looking for individuals with a stable working history so unfortunately candidates who have worked for several companies in the last few years or are contractors will not be considered.
All candidates must have CSCS, First Aid and SMSTS.
