Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an Assistant Site Manager / Resident Liaison Officer for social housing refurbishments in the Greater Manchester area. You will report to a Site Manager and ensure the site runs smoothly, keeping to programme, budget and safety standards.

You will liaise with residents and clients, monitor quality, order materials and support delivery across multiple schemes. A strong track record in housing refurbishments is essential.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/SSSTS tickets are required.
• CSCS and First Aid tickets are required.
• Proven track record delivering Social Housing refurbishment schemes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the site within programme timescales and budget.
• Maintain health and safety standards and promote a proactive H&S culture.
• Monitor work quality and coordinate with the client.
• Liaise with residents to keep them informed about construction progress.
• Order materials and manage on-site logistics.
• Report to the Site Manager and support scheme delivery.

The company specialise in Social Housing refurbishments across Greater Manchester, working within tenanted properties with the aim to improve the condition of homes across the region. The company work across internal refurbishments, external refurbishments, fire safety upgrades and energy efficiency upgrades.

They are looking for an Assistant Site Manager / Resident Liaison Officer (this is a dual role) to join their team. This would suit a candidate who worked initially as a RLO and has since stepped up to an Assistant Site Manager position.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Main Contractor who have a healthy pipeline of work and operate on a number of schemes.

You will be reporting into a Site Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational running of the site, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Liaising with residents and ensuring they are kept updated with the construction process
• Ordering materials

Experience needed:

SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Social Housing Refurbishment schemes.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is 36-40k (depending on experience) plus 4k car allowance and other benefits.
