Brief Description
As an assistant signalling and telecoms maintenance engineer, you will be involved in managing and directing the team. You will also assist in the delivery of duties as required.
About the role (External)
The Assistant Signalling and Telecoms Engineer will oversee the Intelligent Infrastructure Technicians (IITs) and Control Centre Technicians (CCTs) within the Central route. This role is crucial in managing the route's asset reliability and performance by leveraging the available intelligent infrastructure. The engineer will utilise a “predict and prevent” capability derived from the installed Remote Condition Monitoring (RCM) systems to ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of the signalling and telecommunications assets within Central.
