Joining Woodgreen as part of our dynamic Retail team, you will help raise funds to support our organisation in ensuring every pet has a loving, caring home and positive relationships with owners. As Assistant Shop Manager at our Kings Lynn Charity Shop, you will work as part of our shop management team striving for excellence. You will take full responsibility in the Shop Manager's absence and support the team with:

• Maintaining high standards of shop presentation, back of house operations, and customer service.
• Ensuring the shop and window merchandising are of the highest standard.
• Recruiting, training, motivating, and supporting volunteers to develop a loyal and engaged team.
• Ensuring maximum stock availability through processing donations.
• Handling compliance, record keeping, and cash handling responsibly.
• Acting as a brand ambassador to raise awareness and engagement in the local community.

We would love to hear from you! The role offers a salary of £24,570 pro-rata per annum (equivalent to £12.60 per hour). The working pattern is either 13.5 hours weekly (Monday and alternate Fridays and Saturdays) or 10.5 hours weekly (Thursday and Sunday). There may be opportunities to cover holiday or absence support for the management team.
