Responsibilities of our Assistant Shop Manager:

1. Assist the Shop Manager to maximize shop income and profitability through the safe day-to-day operational management of shop activity and KPIs, supporting Cats Protection's mission.
2. Act as a brand ambassador for Cats Protection, embodying the charity's values and behaviors, and taking responsibility for shop operations in the absence of the Shop Manager.

About the retail team:

Our retail operation includes over 80 charity shops, each with its own unique charm, managed by dedicated volunteers and staff. Our shops offer everything from vintage jewelry and jigsaws to harps and handbags, catering to diverse customer needs.

What we’re looking for in our Assistant Shop Manager:

• Experience in a relevant retail environment
• Understanding of working towards sales targets
• Experience with cash reconciliation and financial controls
• Ability to motivate and manage teams of employees and volunteers
