Danish Crown UK is seeking a proactive Butchery Assistant Shift Manager to lead a Line 2 team on a Monday–Friday 05:15–15:15 shift. You will manage daily room planning, oversee yields, coaching staff and uphold food safety standards across production areas.
Join a reputable food factory with opportunities for growth and development as you drive performance and ensure seamless production changeovers.
Are you a resilient and ambitious leader looking to step into a pivotal role running production lines, managing yields and driving performance within a thriving food production business?
As Butchery Assistant Shift Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of our butchery shift, working Monday to Friday from 05:15 to 15:15. Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, you will lead a team, manage daily room planning and step up to cover shift management duties whenever required.
We are seeking a proactive leader with a growth mindset who can multitask, remain calm under pressure and take ownership of daily production goals. You will combine hands‑on butchery expertise with strong technical knowledge to drive room efficiency and yield performance.
Joining Danish Crown UK means building a career with a secure and stable business where long-term professional development is truly supported. You will enjoy genuine autonomy on the shift, clear opportunities for career growth and the chance to step up into broader management responsibilities.
Working a consistent Monday to Friday shift pattern (05:15 to 15:15), you will experience a structured working environment alongside a collaborative team. We offer a competitive salary package matching your experience, along with the backing of an established industry leader committed to helping you succeed.
Danish Crown UK is a business built on trust, teamwork and ambition. We exist to deliver food that people believe in, and we know that takes strong leadership and collaborative cultures.
