Job summary

Teem Recruitment is seeking an Assistant SENDCo & Learning Support Assistant for a well-established independent secondary school in North West London. You will work closely with the SEND team, teaching staff and senior leaders to deliver targeted interventions for students with additional learning needs.

Key duties include coordinating provision with the SENDCo, delivering small-group sessions, monitoring progress and records, and helping develop personalised learning plans.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND or additional learning needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Support the SENDCo in coordinating provision for students with additional learning needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Assist in monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement support strategies.
• Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and support programmes.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
