Philip Morant School and College is seeking an Assistant SENDCo to join our strong SEN team and contribute to an ongoing improvement journey within a large Colchester campus. The role offers term-time plus non-pupil days and a 37-hour week, Monday to Thursday, with Friday shorter hours.
The successful candidate will support EHCPs, One Plans, and interventions, and work closely with external agencies as needed.

Our SEN team comprises of twenty staff members in varying roles within the department. The team is determined to offer individualised support for students with a wide range of SEN needs. The successful candidate will be supported to develop their skills within the role. The role will give the successful candidate a greater breath and understanding of leading a SEN team in large secondary school and post sixteen provision.
