Job summary

Anglian Water Services seeks an Assistant Scientist for a 12-month fixed-term contract (37 hours) to support Drinking Water Science, Environmental Science, and Bioresources through rotations across disciplines. You will gain experience supporting capital investment programmes, proactive risk management, and event response while expanding knowledge and pursuing continuous learning.

Circa £31,000 dependent on skills and experience
Fixed Term Contract – 12 months, full time (37 hours) with flexibility for part time

The Quality Environment & Assurance Assistant Scientist is a rotational role supporting Drinking Water Science, Environmental Science, and Bioresources. You’ll gain experience across scientific disciplines, supporting long-term ambitions for customer and scientific support.

You’ll assist with capital investment programmes, proactive risk management, and event response, while growing your knowledge and expertise through rotations and continuous learning.

This role requires you to have a full UK driving license.
