Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Scientist on a fixed-term 12-month contract to support Drinking Water Science, Environmental Science and Bioresources.

The role is full-time (37 hours) with flexibility for part-time, located across Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford, Peterborough, Grantham and Lincolnshire. Assistant Scientist Circa £31,000 dependent on skills and experience

Fixed Term Contract – 12 months, full time (37 hours) with flexibility for part time

Location – Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford, Peterborough, Grantham, Lincolnshire

The Quality Environment & Assurance Assistant Scientist is a rotational role supporting Drinking Water Science, Environmental Science, and Bioresources. You’ll gain experience across scientific disciplines, supporting long‑term ambitions for customer and scientific support. You’ll assist with capital investment programmes, proactive risk management, and event response, while growing your knowledge and expertise through rotations and continuous learning. This role requires you to have a full UK driving license.
