Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking an Assistant Scientist for a 12‑month fixed term contract, full-time (37 hours) with flexible part-time options. Based across Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford, Peterborough, Grantham and Lincolnshire, the role supports Drinking Water Science, Environmental Science and Bioresources with rotations and learning opportunities.

The Quality Environment & Assurance Assistant Scientist is a rotational role supporting Drinking Water Science, Environmental Science, and Bioresources. You’ll gain experience across scientific disciplines, supporting long-term ambitions for customer and scientific support.

You’ll assist with capital investment programmes, proactive risk management, and event response, while growing your knowledge and expertise through rotations and continuous learning.

This role requires you to have a full UK driving license.
