Job summary

Green & Fortune Ltd. is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead our Sea Containers operation on Blackfriars Bridge, London.

This hands-on role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences across restaurant and retail outlets, including a café and staff dining area. You will manage floor service, develop teams, optimise labour and stock, and collaborate with the Head Chef, events and management teams to run seamless service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a busy restaurant operation and leading on the floor.
• Hands-on leadership style with presence during busy service periods.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge and ability to communicate menus clearly.
• Experience with rotas, labour planning, stock control and cost management.
• Experience overseeing multiple outlets or hospitality areas is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant floor through all service stages, ensuring standards and pace.
• Recruit, onboard, train, schedule and develop restaurant and retail teams.
• Champion guest-first service and manage guest feedback and service recovery.
• Support commercial performance through labour planning, stock control, and cost management.
• Oversee cafe and staff dining outlets, collaborating with kitchen, bar, events and management teams.
