Job summary

Center Parcs UK & Ireland's Whinfell Forest is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager - Bar on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027. You will lead and coach team members, ensure guest satisfaction, and support cost control across the bar operation.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and computer literacy, with evenings, weekends and bank holidays included. A competitive salary of £34,600 per annum plus tips is offered, along with benefits and career development

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and coach colleagues to maintain high service standards
• Ensure guest satisfaction by proactively addressing queries and concerns
• Monitor and achieve financial targets through effective cost control and analysis
• Support back-of-house operations and work across units with varying service styles
• Utilise strong computer literacy and analytical skills for reporting and planning

Your working hours

Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027

• Full-time contract
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 160 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays

• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer literacy and analytical skills
• Previous supervisory experience at a similar level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with the ability to perform under pressure
