Welcome Break is seeking an Assistant Manager at London Gateway to lead the team on shift, uphold standards, and ensure every customer enjoys a warm, welcoming experience. Support the Store Manager across service, safety, people and commercial performance, coaching the team and managing stock and routines.

This full‑time role offers a rewarding salary package up to £29,000 with a bonus scheme and a £10 meal allowance every shift, plus holiday, discounts and training to help you grow into a Store

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager in a busy retail, hospitality, or customer service environment.
• Ability to lead on shift, coach others and drive standards.
• Strong organisational skills, focus on customer service and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on shift and support the Store Manager across service, safety, people and commercial performance.
• Coach and develop team members during shifts to deliver great customer experiences.
• Assist with stock management, routines and keeping the unit clean and well-organised.
• Help drive sales performance while maintaining high service standards.
