Assistant Restaurant Manager – Four Points by Sheraton, Edinburgh Haymarket

Amalfino operates within our Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Edinburgh's West End, Haymarket. It offers guests an authentic Italian culinary experience with a menu featuring pasta, pizzas, meats, and desserts, crafted with passion and tradition by our skilled chefs.

YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:

  1. Work with the Operations Manager to develop the restaurant's commercial operations, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability enhancement.
  2. Maintain high service standards and culinary excellence.
  3. Collaborate with the Head Chef to innovate and develop the menu, incorporating seasonality.
  4. Manage online booking platforms to maximize opportunities, reporting regularly to the Hotel General Manager.
  5. Lead, develop, and manage an effective team.
  6. Conduct meetings with Beverage Sales representatives alongside the Operations Manager.
  7. Inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer service across food and beverage operations.
  8. Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, wines, and bar operations.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  1. Previous experience in a similar restaurant role serving fresh produce.
  2. The ability to inspire the team and impress guests.
  3. Capability to manage busy restaurant and bar demands effectively, utilizing team resources efficiently.
