Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Prime Residential

Location: Essex based office with projects across prime London postcodes

Salary: £25k-£35k + bens

An established high end residential main contractor is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This business specialises in delivering super prime refurbishments and new builds across some of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods including Kensington, Chelsea, Hampstead, Notting Hill and Belgravia.

With project values typically ranging from £500k to £6m+, they deliver award-winning properties in collaboration with top-tier architects, interior designers and specialist consultants.

This family owned contractor is financially stable and well regarded within the prime residential sector. Their consistent quality of delivery and reputation for attention to detail has earned them repeat business with a loyal client base of high net worth individuals and respected design professionals.

The Role:

• Assist in the full lifecycle of cost management on multiple live projects
• Take responsibility for measurement, valuations, subcontractor management and reporting
• Work closely with Project Managers and the senior commercial team to ensure timely and accurate financial delivery
• Gain experience on high specification properties that regularly feature in architectural publications

About You:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the high-end or prime residential market (not essential)
• Organised, proactive and commercially aware
• Confident communicator with both site and client-facing teams
• Eager to progress within a supportive and ambitious business
