Job summary

KBR is recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the PCCS team in the UK. The role focuses on pre-contract commercial support, contract documentation, and leading tender activities within a busy project controls environment.

The successful candidate will manage live contracts, ensure records are up to date in CEMAR and ATAMIS, and contribute to cost audits and final accounting across multiple projects, working from a daily commuting location.

Qualifications

• Experience in NEC contract management and procurement processes.
• Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Capable of independent workload management and sound commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-contract commercial support, developing procurement and commercial strategies in collaboration with demanders, preparing contract documentation and leading tendering.
• Lead the tendering process and manage additional tenders within the area in line with the procurement pipeline.
• Undertake ongoing contract management duties for live contracts, ensuring accurate maintenance of records in CEMAR, ATAMIS, and the Procurement Plan.
• Complete final accounting of multiple contracts and support the wider commercial team with cost audits.
