Job summary

Foster & May in Manchester seeks an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a small, family-feel QS team working on residential and student accommodation projects. You will handle pre-contract tasks, such as cost plans, to professional standards and to time scales.

The role requires a QS degree and APC diary progress, with around 2 years' experience; hybrid working and progression opportunities including APC training are on offer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• APC diary in progress or planned.
• Commutable to Manchester to be eligible for the role.
• Basic pre and post contract knowledge.
• Experience in a PQS/Consultancy practice is preferred.
• Approximately 2 years of quantity surveying experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on, pre-contract tasks including cost plans, to professional standards and within time scales.
• Join a small, family-feel Quantity Surveying team working on residential and student accommodation projects.
