Clancy is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support QS teams in delivering commercial outcomes. You will assist in tendering, cost control, and contract administration, while developing expertise in NEC3 forms and construction law.

Responsibilities

• Produce weekly and monthly cost value reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Capture and allocate all relevant costs and liabilities.
• Maintain long term relationships with internal and external teams.
• Assist in managing opportunities and risks to the business.
• Assist the QS in developing commercial tenders, offers and contracts.
• Identify and escalate inappropriate costs and monitor transfers between streams.
• Identify commercial risks and escalate for early warning.
• Record and track insurance claims.
• Ensure contract data and records are maintained and updated.
• Capture and report direct labour payments; assist in drafting sub-contracts.
• Share learning and best practice to drive continuous improvement.
• Comply with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.
• Comply with Clancy driving standards policy.
