Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Team in controlling contract costs on allocated projects across Scotland. You will audit contract administration, measure performance against KPIs, prepare forecasts and reports, and support negotiations on interim payments to help deliver on budget and timelines.

The role requires a valid full driving license and experience in Quantity Surveying across multiple locations, with

Qualifications

• Valid full driver's license.
• Experience in Quantity Surveying across multiple locations and high volume works.
• Experience of operating in a commercial market.

Responsibilities

• Control external contract expenditure through scope control and change management.
• Audit contract administration to ensure compliance with processes.
• Measure supplier delivery performance against KPIs and report improvements.
• Provide budgets, cost forecasts and performance data for improvements.
• Agree value of works and interim payments with contractors.
• Represent the Energy Networks at negotiation meetings.
• Develop risk registers for Target Cost works and manage risk allocation.
