Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. in Hemel Hempstead seeks an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery on civil infrastructure projects across the South East.

You will work with experienced commercial professionals on schemes up to about £4m, gaining exposure to take-offs, procurement, and CVR reporting. With at least 2 years' QS experience and a full UK driving licence, you will manage payments, variations, cost tracking, and site meetings, while maintaining project records and supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience working for a contractor or subcontractor.
• Understanding of core QS processes and commercial procedures.
• Proficient with Bluebeam for take-offs and measurement.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

A growing civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of projects across the South East. Working alongside experienced commercial professionals, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of civils and infrastructure schemes valued up to £4m.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Assistant QS with at least 2 years' experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and expanding business.
