Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of civils and infrastructure projects across the South East, with schemes valued up to £4m. You will work alongside experienced commercial professionals to gain exposure to payments, variations, cost tracking and procurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience working for a contractor or subcontractor.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS Card.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with applications for payment
• Managing variation and compensation event notices and quotations
• Cost tracking and reporting
• Supporting forecasting and CVR preparation
• Producing take-offs and measurements using Bluebeam
• Assisting with material procurement
• Attending site visits and client meetings
• Maintaining project records and documentation
• Working across multiple infrastructure and civil engineering projects
