Job summary

Dragados UK & Ireland is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and contractual management of the West Suffolk Hospital project. You will assist with cost control, procurement, valuations and contract administration, working with senior commercial staff to ensure packages are delivered within budget and in line with NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience of commercial management.
• Experience of construction projects and Joint Venture arrangements.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Commitment to integrity, ethics and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of contracts for suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support cost management, cash flow forecasting and budget reporting for packages.
• Assist with assessment of compensation events, claims and change control.
• Help prepare and review tender documentation, tender returns and schedules of rates.
• Assist with valuations, payment applications and final accounts.
• Contribute to project cost reporting, audits and close-out activities.
