Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK seeks a Quantity Surveyor to deliver excellence across complex infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with client teams, manage costs and reporting, and support procurement and contract administration to keep projects on track.

The role requires civil infrastructure experience and familiarity with UK contracts such as NEC, ICC, FIDIC, or JCT. Flexible working and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Working towards membership of RICS or equivalent.

Your role

• Collaboration - Working in the client team with leadership, project managers, contractors, and internal managers.
• Cost Management - Monitoring project costs to ensure the project is delivered within budget. Validating contractor and supplier costs & payments.
• Reporting - Providing regular input to financial reports to ensure our clients have confidence in their project outcomes.
• Procurement - Supporting the procurement team in evaluating and appointing contractors.
• Contract Administration - Administering various contract types, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Supporting with contract change by reviewing validity, quotations and ensuring timely submissions and agreement. Working closely with the team to maintain accurate and comprehensive project records.
• Risk and Value Management - Identifying, analysing, and mitigating commercial risks. Assisting in value engineering to optimise project performance.

About you

• Working towards membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent, recognised body.
• Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
• Experience in civil infrastructure projects preferrable.
• Experience with common forms of UK Construction contracts such as NEC, ICC, FIDIC, or JCT preferrable.
