Job summary

Knightwood Associates Limited is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Milton Keynes to join a growing residential development team. The role offers exposure to the full commercial lifecycle, including procurement, cost control, subcontractor management, valuations and reporting.

The successful candidate will have QS experience in construction, ideally with housebuilding exposure, and a strong drive to progress within residential construction.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction quantity surveying.
• Housebuilding experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good commercial awareness and communication skills.
• Desire to develop and progress within residential construction.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Milton Keynes

£40,000-£48,000 + £4,500 Car Allowance + 10% Bonus

We're working with a leading residential developer looking to add an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their Milton Keynes team. This could suit someone already working within housebuilding, or an Assistant QS from another construction sector looking to make the move into residential development. You'll join an established commercial team and gain exposure across the full commercial lifecycle, including procurement, cost control, subcontractor management, valuations and reporting.

What we're looking for:

• Quantity Surveying experience within construction
• Housebuilding experience is desirable but not essential
• Good commercial awareness and communication skills
• Someone looking to develop and progress within residential construction

Package:

• 10% bonus
