Are you an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to smarter, greener infrastructure projects? Join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative infrastructure solutions.
Location: Leiston, East Anglia (IP16). This role involves working on a major infrastructure project with diverse tasks including groundworks, civils, drainage, pavements, and building construction, involving structural concrete, steel, ductile iron pipework, and racking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Profile:
Ideally, you hold a degree in construction or commercial management with experience in subcontractor management. Essential skills include strong commercial awareness, knowledge of NEC3 contracts (especially ECC NEC3 Option C), construction and contract law, advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Previous client-facing experience and the ability to build stakeholder relationships are preferred. You should be proactive, resilient, and capable of prioritising tasks effectively.
