Market Pulse Recruitment Ltd is representing a civil engineering contractor seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Leicester. The role offers a salary of 40,000 - 45,000 plus package and a supportive environment.

You will assist with commercial management on civil engineering projects, support valuations and cost reporting, and work with NEC contracts. Flexible working options, including home-based days, are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure or groundworks.
• Experience or exposure to NEC contracts.
• An understanding of highways, structures, public realm or general civil engineering projects would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, organisational and numerical skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the commercial management of civil engineering projects from commencement through to final account.

Our client is an established civil engineering contractor seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

The business delivers a diverse range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the Midlands, including highways, public realm improvements, structures and associated groundworks.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their commercial experience, gain exposure to varied projects and progress within a supportive working environment.
