Job summary

Ernest and Florent in Central London is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their boutique construction and property consultancy. You will work with the senior team to deliver cost management services across pre- and post-contract stages for residential development, private residential and commercial projects.

This role offers APC support, a competitive salary (£35,000-£45,000), 25 days’ leave plus bank holidays, and a collaborative, flexible working environment designed to help you

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within a consultancy environment.
• Ideally working towards APC.
• Experience across residential development, private residential and/or commercial sectors is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope of Cost Management services pre and post contract (cost benchmarking, procurement advice, risk and value management, cashflow management and final account negotiations).
• Work closely with the senior team to support project delivery and client relationships.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyors Role

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will join a well-known, London-based multi-disciplinary SME that work across three core areas; residential development, private residential and commercial.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with the senior team to provide the full scope of Cost Management services, both pre and post contract, such as cost benchmarking, procurement advice, risk and value management, cashflow management and final account negotiations.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyors Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• 2+ years of experience within a consultancy environment
• Ideally working towards APC / keen to begin the process
• Experience across residential development, private residential and/or commercial sectors is beneficial but not essential
