Clearfield Recruitment Limited is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Chelmsford, Essex. You will support commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account and assist in measurement, valuation, procurement and cost reporting.
The role provides mentoring and training to progress toward a Quantity Surveyor role, with exposure to education, healthcare, commercial and public sector projects across Essex.
Our client is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Chelmsford, Essex. Working closely with the commercial team, you will assist in the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account.
You will support the measurement and valuation of works, procurement of subcontract packages, cost reporting, contract administration, risk management, and financial forecasting. The role offers the opportunity to gain broad experience across a variety of projects within sectors including education, healthcare, commercial, public sector, and leisure.

A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline is desirable.
