Job summary

Foster & May Limited, a Bolton-based chartered Quantity Surveying consultancy, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support new projects across retail, industrial, residential and healthcare sectors.

You will join an experienced team and work across pre and post-contract stages, assisting with cost planning, contract administration and procurement, while liaising with clients to develop key technical skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
• 2+ years Consultancy Quantity Surveying experience.
• Ideally worked within a PQS / Consultancy practice.
• Good pre contract knowledge.
• Keen to achieve MRICS.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost planning, contract administration and procurement.
• Support the delivery of a varied portfolio of projects across sectors.
• Gain exposure to the full cost management process across pre and post-contract stages.
• Liaise with clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyors Role

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will join an experienced Quantity Surveying team, supporting the delivery of a varied portfolio of projects across sectors including retail, industrial, residential and healthcare.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will gain exposure to the full cost management process, working across both pre and post-contract stages. Responsibilities will include assisting with cost planning, contract administration, procurement and liaising with clients, providing an excellent opportunity to develop their technical skills and experience.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar
