Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Leicestershire is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to develop clinical experience within the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway (OPD). You will work closely with the Clinical Lead Psychologist and Probation Service staff to support service outcomes and contribute to formulations and psycho-education.

This is a busy, varied role offering supervision, opportunities to train, and to engage with people on probation with complex needs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or equivalent.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex psychological needs.
• Ability to work under supervision within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist psychologists in conducting formulations and risk assessments.
• Deliver psycho-education sessions to individuals or groups.
• Provide consultation to Probation Officers and support evaluation of outcomes.
