Job summary

The Bromley East ADAPT (Anxiety, Depression, Affective, Personality, Trauma) community mental health team within Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a dedicated Assistant Psychologist after the previous post holder progressed to doctoral training.

You will work in a highly supportive psychological therapies team, employing approaches such as CBT, psychodynamic, systemic, EMDR, CFT and CAT, as part of the MDT that values psychological therapies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to assessment of client needs using psychological theory, self-report measures and rating scales.
• Assist in formulation and delivery of care plans involving psychological treatment under supervision.
• Coordinate and run psychoeducation groups and relevant clinical projects.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary discussions regarding client care with supervision.
• Develop a psychological framework of understanding and care across settings.
