Job summary

The Living Well Service at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to undertake assessments, contribute to formulation and deliver psychological interventions under supervision.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and a commitment to clinical excellence; Welsh language ability is desirable. Travel within North Wales may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in psychology with eligible graduate membership of the BPS.
• Experience with psychological assessments and MDT work desirable.
• IT skills including basic Excel and SPSS.

Responsibilities

• Assist the clinical psychology team with assessments and formulations.
• Deliver psychological interventions 1:1 and in groups under supervision.
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Liaise with other departments and agencies to support care.
