Job summary

The Living Well Service MDT within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to assist with psychological assessments, formulations and targeted interventions under supervision, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics and speech & language therapy.

Welsh language competence is desirable; applicants must be able to travel across North Wales.

Qualifications

• Degree in psychology / upper second class honours or higher.
• Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.

Responsibilities

• Assist in psychological assessments, formulations and therapeutic interventions.
• Work with 1:1 and group sessions under supervision.
• Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings.
