Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to join the team at HMP Lindholme in Doncaster. The role focuses on supporting psychological care for inmates, running clinics and sessions, and assisting in assessments under supervision.

Ideally you hold a Psychology degree, with Masters considered beneficial. Prior experience in secure or clinical settings is advantageous for managing complex needs and contributing to CSIP/ACCT processes.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in psychology and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Masters degree is beneficial but not required.
• Experience delivering psychological assessments and interventions in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Support the psychological care of patients throughout their journey with us.
• Run clinics, assessments, and 1-to-1 sessions with patients.
• Triage assessments and identify patient needs.
• Deliver psychological intervention groups (trauma-informed).
• Provide assessments and interventions under supervision of a qualified psychologist.
