Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to join the Radcliffe Place Learning Disability Hub in Greater Manchester. You will work under a Clinical Psychologist, gain experience with learning disabilities, and contribute to assessments, therapeutic activities and MDT meetings.

Essential requirements include a Psychology degree with GB eligibility, and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• First class or 2:1 honours degree in Psychology with eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership
• Experience working with individuals with a Learning Disability
• Evidence of further postgraduate training or study in psychology or research design/analysis

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments and observations under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist
• Plan and facilitate therapeutic activities
• Participate in MDT meetings, data collection, research and service development projects and report writing
